China’s Academy of Social Science (CASS) in the latest report has stated that China’s gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to increase by 6.6 percent year on year in the whole year of 2018. Meanwhile, it expects that China’s GDP is likely to increase by 6.4 percent in the year of 2019 due to the slowdown of the state-owned enterprises’ investment and the continuous trade friction between the US and China.
