Carpenter Technology implements titanium surcharge
The Specialty Alloys Operations unit of Carpenter Technology Corporation announced that it will add a titanium component to its raw material surcharge for titanium bearing grades of specialty alloys effective for shipments as of May 1, 2005. Carpenter Technology indicated that rising titanium prices compelled the company to add a titanium component to its raw material surcharge.
