Canadian production of coking coal jumps 3.4 percent in October

According to Statistics Canada, coking coal production reached 182,329 mt in October, a 3.4 percent increase from the 176,301 mt produced in September but a 6.3 percent drop from the 194,580 mt produced in October 2015.
 
The supply of coking coal in Canada in October reached 214,166 mt, which represents a 13.5 percent increase from supply levels in September and a 7.9 percent increase from supply levels in October 2015.
