Canada commences antidumping probe of Ukrainian plate

On Monday, July 6, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated an antidumping investigation of certain carbon steel plate and high strength low alloy steel plate originating in or exported from Ukraine.

The investigation follows a complaint filed by Essar Steel Algoma Inc.

The CBSA will issue a detailed description of the products subject to this investigation, as well as the alleged dumping margins and the schedule of the investigation, in about two weeks.
