Cabot Oil & Gas join Williams Partners to create natural gas pipeline

According to national media reports on Wednesday, Houston, Texas-based Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation and Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Williams Partners LP have partnered up to create a pipeline that will move natural gas from Pennsylvania to the New York and New England areas. Williams Partners will own 75 percent of the pipeline and Cabot will own 25 percent. Additionally, Williams Partners will be responsible for constructing, operating, and maintaining the pipeline, which is scheduled to begin operations in March 2015.
