CAAM: China’s auto exports decline by 4.7 percent in H1

In June this year, China’s auto export volume totaled 96,000 units, decreasing by 3.3 percent year on year, including 69,000 passenger vehicles and 27,000 commercial vehicles, decreasing by 1.6 percent and 7.4 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the January-June period this year, China’s auto export volume totaled 488,000 units, declining by 4.7 percent year on year, including 328,000 passenger vehicles and 160,000 commercial vehicles, decreasing by 12.2 percent and increasing by 15.5 percent year on year, respectively.
