CAAM: China’s passenger vehicle output down 15.8 percent in H1

In June this year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 1.598 million units and 1.728 million units, decreasing by 17.2 percent and 7.8 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the January-June period of this year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 9.978 million units and 10.127 million units, decreasing by 15.8 percent and 14.0 percent year on year, respectively.
