CAAM: China’s passenger vehicle output down 15.6 percent in Jan-May

In May this year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 1.491 million units and 1.561 million units, decreasing by 23.7 percent and 17.4 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the January-May period of this year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 8.379 million units and 8.399 million units, decreasing by 15.6 percent and 15.2 percent year on year, respectively.
