CAAM: China’s passenger vehicle output down 12.4 percent in Q1

In March this year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles amounted to 2.09 million units and 2.019 million units, decreasing by 5.0 percent and 6.9 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the January-March period of this year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles amounted to 5.227 million units and 5.263 million units, decreasing by 12.4 percent and 13.7 percent year on year.
