CAAM: China’s auto output down 9.8 percent in January-March

In March this year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China totaled 2.558 million units and 2.52 million units, down 2.7 percent and 5.2 percent year on year, respectively.

In the January-March period of this year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China totaled 6.336 million units and 6.372 million units, down 9.8 percent and 11.3 percent year on year, respectively, with these declines 4.3 percentage points and 3.6 percentage points lower than those recorded in the January-February period of this year.
