CAAM: automotive vehicles output down 3.1 percent in April 1-20

In the April 1-20 period of the current year, the aggregate output of automotive vehicles of 11 major automakers in China amounted to 1.075 million units, down 3.1 percent year on year, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In particular, passenger vehicle output totaled 0.857 million units, down 1.1 percent year on year. Meanwhile, commercial vehicle output amounted to 218,000 units, down 10.3 percent year on year.
