Bulgaria’s basic metals output up nine percent in October

According to the latest data released on December 12 by the Bulgarian National Statistical Institute (NSI), in October this year Bulgaria's seasonally adjusted industrial production index decreased by 0.1 percent compared to the previous month and was down by 2.5 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in October, the seasonally adjusted industrial production index in the manufacture of basic metals increased by 18.4 percent month on month and was up by 9.1 percent compared to the same month last year. In the manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment, a month-on-month increase of 9.5 percent and a year-on-year increase of 23.1 percent was recorded.
