Brazil's iron ore export volume amounted to 34.15 million mt in November this year, increasing 8.6 compared to the same month of 2016, according to the information released by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. Brazil's iron ore exports in November totaled $1.52 billion in value, increasing 23.3 percent year on year.
In November, Brazil's export volume of semi-finished products of iron and steel amounted to 760,682 mt, up by 3.1 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, while these exports were valued at $362.46 million, increasing by 44 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, in November Brazil's flat steel exports totaled 320,608 metric tons, up by 33.3 percent year on year. The revenue generated by these exports totaled $215.59 million, growing by 66.2 percent from the November 2016 level.
