Brazil’s industrial output up slightly

Brazil's industrial production showed slow growth during February as several oil refineries had to suspend production due to maintenance. Industrial output rose 4.4% year on year in February, following 6% growth in January, said Brazil's IBGE statistics institute. Production of consumer goods such as automobiles and food rose 22% in February. The steel and primary metals sector also continued to perform well in February.
