Brazilian civil construction activity in June improved to 42.8 points from 41.2 points in June 2016, in a scale from zero to 100, in which values above 50 show growth, according to the country’s confederation of industries, CNI.
In a month-on-month analysis, local civil construction activity in June fell from 44.1 points in May.
The utilization of the industry’s capacity in June remained stable at 55 percent when compared to May this year, but declined from 56 percent in June 2016.
The indicator that measures the number of job positions in the segment improved to 41.8 points in June this year, from 38.1 points in June 2016, but dropped from 42.7 points in May this year.
