Brazilian flat steel exports up 10.3% in Oct over Sept

According to the preliminary statistics provided by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, in October this year Brazil's flat rolled steel exports totaled 186,966 metric tons, increasing 10.3 percent compared to the previous month and down 7.25 percent year on year.

The revenue generated by these exports in October this year totaled $144.9 million, rising by 5.95 percent month on month and down 18.45 percent from the October 2011 level.
