Brazilian flat steel exports fall 59 percent in November

According to the statistics provided by Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, in November this year Brazil's flat steel exports amounted to 106,447 metric tons, falling by 59.06 percent year on year. The revenue generated by these exports came to $109 million, down 47.5 percent from the year-ago figure.

Meanwhile, Brazil's steel billet exports amounted to 599,114 mt in November, increasing two percent compared to the same month of 2010. The revenue generated by these exports came to $397.3 million, up 31.2 percent over November last year.
