Brazilian civil construction activity up in November

Brazilian civil construction activity in November 2017 rose to 46.8 points from 39.3 points in the same month of 2016, in a scale from zero to 100, in which values above 50 show growth, according to the country’s confederation of industries (CNI).

Local civil construction activity in November was stable from 46.9 points in October 2017.

CNI said the industry’s capacity utilization in November reached 59 percent, up from 56 percent in November 2016, but stable from October.

The indicator that measures the number of job positions in the local civil construction industry improved to 44.9 points in November 2017, up from 36.8 points in November 2016, and from 43.1 points in October 2017.
