Brazilian civil construction activity improves in November

Brazil civil construction activity in November rose to 49 points, up from 45.6 points in November 2018, in a scale from zero to 100, in which values above 50 show growth, the local confederation of industries (CNI) said.

According to CNI, Brazil civil construction activity in November fell from 49.9 points in October 2019.

CNI said the capacity utilization of the local civil construction sector in the penult month of the year increased to 62 percent, from 56 percent in November 2018, but remained stable from 62 percent when compared to levels seen in October 2019.

The indicator measuring the number of job positions in the segment grew to 47.4 points in November 2019, from 43.2 points in November 2018, but fell from 48.5 points in October 2018.
