Brazil civil construction activity declines in November

Brazilian civil construction activity in November 2018 declined to 45.6 points, from 46.8 points in November 2017, on a scale from zero to 100, in which values above 50 show growth, the local confederation of industries (CNI) said.

According to CNI, Brazilian civil construction activity in November also dropped from 47.7 points in October 2018.

The civil construction capacity utilization in November 2018 was 56 percent, down from 59 percent in November 2017 and October 2018.

The indicator that measures the number of job positions in the local civil construction sector decreased to 43.2 points in November 2018 from 44.9 points in November 2017. It also fell from 44.9 points in October 2018, CNI said.
