Turkey’s leading pipe producer Borusan Mannesman has announced that it has accomplished the first stage of its investment plan on time and within the planned budget. The company had announced the investment plan on January 9 this year, aiming to increase the capacity of its welded pipe production at its Halkalı facility. After the construction of an integrated production line, the necessary quality and productivity procedures were completed, and production at the facility commenced in recent weeks.

The company has also announced that the other stages of the $75 million investment plan at its Halkalı and Gemlik facilities have been continuing in accordance with the established time frame. Borusan Mannesman plans to better serve the value-added pipe-consuming sectors through this investment, focusing more on the automotive industry.
