Borusan has recently inaugurated its new mill in Cayirova, Gebze, which will be operated by Borusan Paslanmaz Boru, the leading stainless steel and pipe producer in Turkey.
According to the press release issued by Borusan, Borusan Paslanmaz Boru, which has increased its annual production capacity up to 12,000 tons and expanded its product range, will be operating on a land area of 11,000 m².
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Borusan Holding CEO Mr Ahmet Kocabiyik declared, "I believe that this kind of mill will contribute to Turkey's development in terms of employment and production. I am sure that our mill in Cayirova will achieve great success with its qualified production within a very short time".
At the new mill, Borusan Paslanmaz Boru will produce pipes in sizes ranging from 8.0 mm to 114.3 mm and profiles of 10x10 mm and of 80x80 mm, with wall thicknesses ranging between 0.60 mm and 6.00 mm for both product categories. The company is planning to supply its products to both the local and export markets.
