BMZ exports exceed $1 billion in January-October

Belarus-based Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) has announced that in the January-October period of the current year it exported 1.66 million mt of steel products, up 107.6 percent while value of these exports totaled over $1 billion, rising 131.5 percent, both compared to the same period of 2017.  In the given period, BMZ produced 2.02 million mt of steel products, up by 103.5 percent, including 1.76 million mt of rolled products up 99.1 percent, 125,000 mt of seamless pipes, up 110.5 percent and 349,600 mt of steel wire, up 101 percent, all year-on-year basis.

In January-October period of this year, the company exported most of its products to Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Israel and Lithuania.
