Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has stated that its subsidiary Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant which is based in the Russian federal republic of Bashkortostan has obtained licenses from the Russian Federal Environmental, Technological, and Nuclear Supervision Service to construct and manufacture equipment for nuclear facilities.

The factory is planning to supply nuclear energy companies with pipe fittings, cast plug wedges, swing check valves, spring pressure relief valves, and other equipment.
