Benxi Steel’s steel export orders up 34 percent in Jan-May

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Iron and Steel Group (Benxi Steel) has announced that in January-May this year it received steel export orders amounting to 1.55 million mt, up by 34 percent year on year.

Benxi Steel added that it has ranked first among all Chinese steel enterprises in terms of steel export volume for the last two consecutive years (2010-11), while stating that it continues to make profits by focusing on product quality and production volumes.
