Benxi Steel performs hot run test on No. 5 RH vacuum refining furnace

On October 25, Liaoning Province-based Benxi Steel carried out a successful hot run test on its No. 5 RH (Rheinstahl-Heraeus) vacuum refining furnace, which will greatly improve refining capability and enable the production of high-grade steel products.

RH vacuum refining furnaces are used to improve the quality of molten steel via decarbonization and oxygenization.
