Belarusian crude steel output up 3.6 percent in January-October

According to data released by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, in the first 10 months of the current year the value of metallurgical production in Belarus increased by 3.8 percent compared to the same period of last year to BYR 33.383 trillion ($3.9 billion).
 
In particular, in the given period crude steel production in Belarus increased by 3.6 percent to 2.425 million mt, the output of rolled steel went up by 4.7 percent to 2.2 million mt, while domestic production of steel pipes rose by 1.4 percent to 189,300 mt, all on year-on-year basis.
