Bayi Steel sees 14.43 percent rise in flat steel output in Jan-Sept

Xinjiang Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Bayi Iron and Steel Group (Bayi Steel) has announced that in the January-September period of the current year it produced 1.6733 million mt of rebar and wire rod, down 8.33 percent, and 2.3391 million mt of flat steel, up 14.43 percent, year on year.

Meanwhile, in the given period the company sold 1.6945 million mt of rebar and wire rod, down 6.79 percent, and 2.3431 million mt of flat steel, up 14.56 percent, year on year.
