Despite the recent moderate pronouncements made by China's central bank, the bank may still announce another interest rate hike in July, according to UK-based major global financial services provider Barclays Capital.

Barclays expressed this view even though China's central bank recently highlighted the stability of its monetary policy in response to market players' concerns over its current tight monetary policy.

Barclays also said that China may issue new stimulus policies in order to cope with the slowdown in economic development.
