Major Chinese steelmaker Baowu Group has won a contract for the supply of 240,000 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC) and medium plate for the main channel of Ningbo Zhoushan Port, as announced by Baowu Group.
The estimated investment in the main channel of Ningbo Zhoushan Port, on which construction began in January of the current year, is RMB 16.7 billion ($2.5 billion). Construction work is expected to be completed within three years. The main channel will connect Zhoushan cross-sea bridge and Donghai bridge.
