Baotou Steel releases Jan 2007 ex-factory prices

On December 21, 2006, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Baotou Steel released ex-factory prices for some of its products for January 2007. The ex-factory price of HR remains unchanged compared with the previous month, and so the price of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is still RMB 3,600/mt ($461/mt). The ex-factory price of CR has seen an increase of RMB 50/mt ($6/mt). After this adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,600/mt ($589/mt). Meanwhile, the ex-factory prices of Full Hard and HDG remain unchanged. As a result, the price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is still RMB 4,250/mt ($544/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick SGCC HDG stays at RMB 5,300/mt ($579/mt). The above prices all include 17% VAT and are effective as of December 21, 2006.
