Baotou Steel issues Feb 2007 ex-factory prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 18, 2007, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Baotou Steel released ex-factory prices for some of its products for February 2007. The ex-factory price of HR increased RMB 250/mt ($32/mt). After this adjustment, the new price of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,850/mt ($495/mt). The ex-factory price of CR increased RMB 300/mt ($39/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,900/mt ($631/mt). Meanwhile, the ex-factory price of Full Hard increased RMB 150/mt ($19/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is RMB 4,400/mt ($566/mt). Finally, the ex-factory price of HDG remained unchanged, and so the price of 1.0 mm thick SGCC HDG is still at RMB 5,300/mt ($582/mt). The above prices all include 17% VAT and are effective as of January 16, 2007.
