According to Shanghai-based Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group, locking shafts for car shock absorbers produced by Shanghai Best Fastening Systems Co. have been approved by Tenneco (Beijing) Ride Control Systems Co. The shafts in question are manufactured using
wire rod produced by Baosteel and this is the first time Tenneco Beijing will use domestically-produced parts for shock absorbers in cars.
