Baosteel’s Thai subsidiary Baoli Pipe starts seamless pipe production

According to Chinese steel giant Baosteel, its Thailand-based subsidiary Baoli Pipe Co. produced its first seamless steel pipes on January 30, marking an important step in Baosteel's international development strategy in relation to steel pipe.

In March 2012, Baosteel Co. Ltd together with Zhejiang Province-based Jianli Co. invested in the establishment of Baoli Pipe Co. in Thailand. The new company, with a designed annual output of 200,000 mt, will mainly produce coupling casing, plain-end casing, line pipe and structural pipe.
