Baosteel increases high value-added stainless steel output in Jan-Oct

Major Chinese steel producer Baoshan Iron and Steel Group (Baosteel) has stated that in the January-October period of the current year its average monthly output of high value-added and high-tech ultra-pure ferritic stainless steel was 8,700 mt, up 45 percent year on year. Accordingly, Baosteel has seen increased profitability from its stainless steel business in the current year.
