On December 25, 2006,
Baosteel increased its February 2007 ex-factory prices for color
coated coil. The price of 0.5 mm thick color
coated coil increased by RMB200 per ton ($26), that of >0.5 mm thick color
coated coil increased by RMB100 per ton ($13). After adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick TDC51D color
coated coil is RMB6307 per ton ($807).
The above price includes 17 percent VAT.
