Baosteel hot rolling plant exceeds Q1 target

Baosteel's hot rolling plant has exceeded its production target for the first quarter of this year.

The total combined output of Baosteel's 2,050 mm and 1,580 mm wide production lines hit 2.58 million mt of hot rolled coils in the January-March period of 2007, achieving 103.8 percent of the company's projected figure.
