Baogang’s year-to-date wire rod output reaches 700,000 mt

According to Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co. (Baogang Group), up to December 5 its wire rod output this year has already reached 700,000 mt, which is its targeted wire rod output volume for the whole of the current year. Meanwhile, Baogang's wire rod exports in the given period totaled 176,000 mt, equal to 25.5 percent of its wire rod output for the period.
 
As SteelOrbis previously reported, the high speed wire rod production line of Baogang Group subsidiary Baogang Wanteng Iron and Steel Co. was commissioned on November 8 this year.
