Baogang’s rail and beam plant line No. 2 delivers its first 60 kg/m rails

On March 22, Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co. (Baogang Group) announced that its rail and beam plant has supplied its first 60 kg/m steel rails from its rolling line No. 2, delivering a total of 2,447 mt of the rails in question to a customer in Liuyuan in China’s Xinjiang autonomous region.
 
The rolling line No. 2 at Baogang’s rail and beam plant is able to produce H-beam, bainitic steel rail and crane steel rail, among other products.
