Baku Steel to stop operations from July

The largest Azerbaijani steel producer Baku Steel has announced that it is to halt production in July for an as yet undetermined period due to shortages of raw material supplies.

The management of the mill has appealed to private and state-owned institutions for help in finding a solution to its scrap supply problems.
