Baima Mining commissions iron ore concentrate purification project

Sichuan Province-based Pangang Baima Mining, a subsidiary of Sichuan-based Chinese steelmaker Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group (Pangang Group), has announced its iron ore concentrate purification project, built by Hunan-based Zhongye Changtian International Engineering Co., a subsidiary of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC), has successfully completed trial purification operations, as reported by MCC on April 3.
 
The project in question can purify 3 million mt of iron ore concentrate annually, while improving the iron ore grade, and helping to reduce overall energy consumption and increase market competitiveness.
