Azovstal Iron and Steel Works, a subsidiary of Ukraine's largest vertically-integrated mining and steel group Metinvest, has announced that it will produce 10,000 mt of X70 rolled pipe plates with improved mechanical properties for an Indian company.

Azovstal said that it is a challenging order because the customer requires plates in only 10.7 mm thickness and 3,289 mm width, sizes Azovstal has never produced before.

Azovstal has already produced 4,500 mt of Х70 pipe plates and expects to complete the order within the current month.
