Average second-grade coke price in China up 1.9 percent in late April

In late April (April 21-30) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,350.0/mt ($199.2/mt) and RMB 1,764.5/mt ($260.3/mt), remaining stable and increasing by RMB 33.0/mt ($4.9/mt) or 1.9 percent, respectively, compared to prices in mid-April (April 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
