Average second-grade coke price in China down 6.3% in late March

In late March (March 21-31) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,350.0/mt ($201.8/mt) and RMB 1,785.8/mt ($266.2/mt), remaining stable and decreasing by RMB 119.6/mt ($17.8/mt) or 6.3 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in mid-March (March 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
