Average HRB 400 rebar price in China up 1.8 percent in early July

In early July (July 1-10) this year, the average prices in China of 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar, 6.5 mm HPB 300 wire rod, 20 mm Q235 common medium plate, 3 mm Q235 hot rolled sheet, 219 mm x 6 mm seamless pipes and 5 mm x 5 mm angles were respectively recorded at RMB 4,061.8/mt ($591.2/mt), RMB 4,234.9/mt ($616.4/mt), RMB 4,018.8/mt ($585.0/mt), RMB 3,998.0/mt ($582.0/mt), RMB 4,673.3/mt ($680.2/mt) and RMB 4,196.9/mt ($610.9/mt), up RMB 73.0/mt ($10.6/mt), RMB 62.5/mt ($9.1/mt), RMB 37.3/mt ($5.4/mt), RMB 47.2/mt ($6.87/mt), RMB 17.9/mt ($2.6/mt) and RMB 35.0/mt ($5.1/mt), i.e., up 1.8 percent, 1.5 percent, 0.9 percent, 1.2 percent, 0.4 percent and 0.8 percent, compared to prices in late June (June 21-30), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
