Average second-grade coke price in China up 4.5 percent in mid-June

In mid-June (June 11-20) this year, the average price in China of coking coal was recorded at RMB 1,180.0/mt ($186.4/mt), remaining stable, while the average price of second-grade metallurgical coke was RMB 2,151.4/mt ($331.0/mt), up by RMB 92.4/mt ($14.2/mt) or 4.5 percent, both compared to prices in early June (June 1-10), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
