Average second-grade coke price in China up 4.1 percent in late July

In late July (July 21-31) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,380.0/mt ($201.2/mt) and RMB 1,816.5/mt ($263.6/mt), remaining stable and increasing by RMB 72.2/mt ($10.5/mt) or 4.1 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in mid-July (July 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
