Average second-grade coke price in China up 3.6 percent in late Oct

In late October (October 21-31) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,228.6/mt ($176.5/mt) and RMB 2,375.4/mt ($341.3/mt), increasing by RMB 17.2/mt ($2.5/mt) and RMB 81.8/mt ($11.8/mt), or up 1.4 percent and 3.6 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in mid-October (October 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
