Average second-grade coke price in China up 1.7 percent in late Sept

In late September (September 21-30) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,257.1/mt ($189.6/mt) and RMB 2,192.6/mt ($330.7/mt), increasing by RMB 57.1/mt ($8.6/mt) and RMB 36.2/mt ($5.5/mt), compared to prices in mid-September (September 11-20), i.e., up by 4.8 percent and 1.7 percent respectively , as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on October 10.
