Average second-grade coke price in China up 1.2 percent in late June

In late June (June 21-30) this year, the average price in China of coking coal was recorded at RMB 1,000.0/mt ($146.2/mt), remaining stable compared to prices in mid-June (June 11-20), while the average price of second-grade metallurgical coke was recorded at RMB 1,542.9/mt ($227/mt), increasing by RMB 18.9/mt ($2.78/mt) or 1.2 percent compared to prices in mid-June (June 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on July 4.
